'Unfulfilled hopes' is the sixth book of the Galician Saga covering the events of the first years of World War II, when Ukrainians still had vague hopes that someone else would bring them liberation. In 1939 they greeted with flowers the Red Army as the liberator from Polish oppression. And two years later they hoped to get rid of it with the help of the German Wehrmacht.
